Responsibilities:

Event Producers lead the planning and execution of events of all sizes and budgets and across all business silos. Event Producers may serve as the primary point of contact for clients, manage all logistical and operational aspects of events, and work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to deliver exceptional experiences. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serving as the main point of contact for multiple clients, maintaining direct and timely communication regarding all event-related matters.
  • Creating and maintaining critical event documents such as timelines, budgets, and meeting agendas.
  • Managing a diverse range of event vendors, including but not limited to caterers, production companies, printers, decorators, and activation providers.
  • Overseeing and executing a wide array of event-related tasks, such as venue coordination, food and beverage planning, show production, exhibitor management, room block submission, and branding execution.
  • Attending site visits and vendor meetings and working onsite event hours.

Skills Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, business, or related field
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Dexterity to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, marketing and public relations basics, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Canva, and similar programs

Responsibilities:

Digital Event Producers lead the creation and management of various event technologies and content channels such as websites, emails, apps, virtual platforms, and onsite badge printing. Digital Event Producers may serve as the primary point of contact for clients, manage all logistical and operational aspects of event technology, and work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to deliver exceptional experiences. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serving as a point of contact for multiple clients, maintaining direct and timely communication regarding all event technology-related matters.
  • Managing project timelines to ensure event deliverables are met on schedule, and proactively addressing potential delays to ensure timely execution. 
  • Building and managing registration websites, landing pages, virtual platforms, event apps, and other digital media.
  • Organizing and designing email communication plans for event attendees.
  • Analyzing event data to create post-event reports.
  • Working onsite event hours.

Skills Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, business, or related field

Responsibilities:

Interns will gain experience with various special events and programs under the guidance of planit inc. professionals. Some of the key learnings provided by the internship are developing event materials from invitations to production schedules, tracking project estimates, and sourcing various event needs. Interns are responsible for assisting with event logistics, as well as attending and facilitating events onsite. Additional planit inc. Event Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Creating a range of event materials, from sourcing decks to promotional collateral, ensuring alignment with brand and communication standards.
  • Coordinating vendor contacts and manage relationships to ensure project deliverables arrive on time.
  • Assisting with both internal and client communication through answering phones and conference resources emails.
  • Assisting with the building and management of event registration websites through attend!t (planit inc.’s digital platform for events).
  • Organizing event packing to ensure that the onsite team has the materials they need to be successful.
  • Observing and assisting planit inc. professionals onsite at various events ranging from groundbreakings to multi-day conferences.

Skills Preferred:

Ideal candidates must be undergraduate students and at least of sophomore or above standing. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, marketing and public relations basics, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Canva, and similar programs
  • Professional appearance and phone skills
  • Ability to remain organized, creative, and innovative in a fast-paced office environment
  • Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Digital Event Assistants will gain experience with various special events and programs under the guidance of planit inc. professionals. Some of the key learnings for this position include editing digital content, suggesting web design enhancements, creating marketing content, and performing quality analysis on our projects. This includes, but is not limited to, websites, emails, apps, and other digital content channels. Other responsibilities could include:

  • Managing project timelines to ensure event deliverables are met on schedule, and proactively addressing potential delays to ensure timely execution. 
  • Assisting with the build and design of registration websites, landing pages, and event apps. 
  • Organizing and designing email communication plans for event attendees.
  • Executing graphic design projects and create cohesive print items based on clients' needs.
  • Managing and optimizing other digital media, as needed.
  • Analyzing event data to create post-event reports.
  • Observing and assisting at various events to gain a full understanding of the application of digital pre-planning work.

Skills Preferred:

Ideal candidates must be undergraduate students and of at least sophomore or above standing. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Understanding of digital applications of Adobe Suite, Canva, and similar programs
  • Professional appearance and phone skills
  • Ability to remain organized, creative, and innovative in a fast-paced office environment
